Encouraging Word is a library of audio files
from our Pastor. It is our desire that you find the message you are
seeking. We have categorized the messages to assist you in finding
your choice more quickly. If you would like to see a message on a
specific topic that is not included, please email us at
webmaster@titusworks.org and
we will add appropriate messages. Thank you for listening. The Bible is the WORD of GOD, as written by the scribes so the teaching of Jesus would be available to all generations. As such, if you will pray for knowledge with a clear and truthful heart and open your Bible, it will open to the place where your answer lies. Many Bibles have a Concordance included. The Concordance is a reference where you can locate specific verses by topics, and by specific quotes. When researching a topic this is a great assistance to locate each reference in the Bible concerning your topic. Bibles have been written in various versions and numerous languages so the multitudes can have understanding. The King James Version (KJV) is written in old English style. I prefer this version because I can step out of my present circumstances and enter into a prior, more formal time. I set myself aside from this life and can commune with God as if I were at his throne. Other versions of the Bible are written in more commonly used terminology. The New International Version (NIV) is such a version. It speaks to us in today's terms. It is easier for many to understand this version. There are many versions of the Bible available today. To find the one you prefer, please read passages from each version (preferably the same passages) to compare the readability of each. Choose the version that is more comfortable reading. You may find that you like to compare the passages. I recommend that you use the original text (Hebrew/Greek) translations to understand the meaning of the original words used rather than the translations that have changed terminology over the years.
